A unique ‘creative’ Corporate training and conference venue in Brisbane CBD, located right in the heart of South Bank Parklands.
Illustration House not only houses a modern art studio, but also a specialised corporate training venue for seminars, meetings, boardroom conferences, launches, and exhibitions. No getting bored with this training venue, as the artwork changes regularly, and makes for a very interesting creative experience for all of your seminar guests.
The training room accommodates seating of up to 80 in theatre style, 25 in U-shape, 60 at tables, and 120 for cocktail events. For larger networking cocktail functions the art and book gallery can be made available to give added interest and to accommodate greater guest numbers. |

The digital interactive touch sensitive and web connected SmartBoard screen with a ceiling mounted projector allows for highly interactive and compelling presentations that will keep delegates focused on every detail. |

Ceiling mounted microphones allow for full audio recording throughout the room, with simultaneous screen recording to capture brainstorming sessions and presentations for post seminar analysis, and can be burned to disc.

Wireless hand or lapel microphones, lectern, DVD and CD player all allow for a fully integrated seminar or presentation, whether for corporate training, or product or media launch.

The training room is extremely versatile with catering from simple or gourmet morning and afternoon teas, fruit platters, gourmet finger food business lunches, and full cocktail service available for networking functions. Illustration House can also arrange for full menu lunches or dinners at any of the myriad of restaurants located within the Parklands and only a minutes walk of the venue.

Transportation
If driving to your conference or training event, South Bank underground car park can be accessed either from Tribune Street or Little Stanley St.
Drive to the middle of the car park in the yellow section and park nearest to I or H (just think Illustration House), and you will see the wide stairway that leads right up to the gallery and training room entrance.
South Bank and South Brisbane Train Stations are just a short walk away (located on Grey St), and a ferry terminal for those traveling across the river on City Cat is also nearby (just up from the Street’s Beach) (see map above).
A taxi rank is located diagonally opposite the rear of Illustration House on Little Stanley St.
School groups for visual literacy programs can alight from their buses at the northern end of the park at the rear of QPAC and walk through the beautiful bougainvillea arbor until reaching the historical Plough Inn which you will find right next door to Illustration House. |
